HP Compaq 6820s will be the first notebooks which will be powered by an Intel Penryn processor, beside a bunch of SonyVaio next release notebooks and others. This 17-inch business notebook will be powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 processor clocking at 2.1GHz or T8300 processor clocking at 2.4GHz, up to 4GB RAM and up to 250GB HDD.Other features including DVD burner, Wi-fi a/b/g/n.

Sony Vaio Notebook release for Q1 2008
Sony planning to release a bunch of its notebook in the next January – February. The new Vaios will upgrade some models from FZ, SZ, CR, and AR Series.All of them will use Intel Penryn processors ( 45nm manufactured processor).
The CR series will welcome the Vaio CR31S/D which comes with 14.1-inch screen managed by an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100 and powered by a 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 processor, 2GB DDR2 memory and 160GB SATA hard drive. Othr features including dual layer DVD writer, 802.11a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth, webcam and running Vista Home Premium.The Vaio CR31S/D will has $1,763 price tag. Read more
Intel Classmate UMPC heading to Vietnam
While we enjoy exploring what we can do with Asus Eee pc and trying lots of hack from connectivity, OS‘es or give it a touchscreen, Vietnam is ready to get their UMPC which is Intel Classmate. Comes with specifications similar with Asus Eee pc, Intel Classmate has the same 7-inch display with 800 x 480pixels resolution, same Celeron 900 MHz processor and same Wifi support. Unfortunately there are only 256MB RAM instead of 512MB and only 1GB flash storage.
Dell Inspiron 1525 is available
